Troy Glover

Troy Glover a non profit executive, political consultant and organizer with a strong focus on fundraising & building more equitable communities and systems for residents in New Orleans.

Troy previously served as the New Orleans Director for the Center for Employment Opportunities. CEO provides comprehensive employment and supportive services to individuals returning home from incarceration. Over the past two years, CEO has hired over 200 individuals from our community.

In his civic capacity, Troy currently serves as a board member for Total Community Action, The Audubon Commission and Public Allies and past board member for Crescent City Community Land Trust, The Living School and the EMPLOY Collaborative. Troy is also the past president of the Faubourg St. Roch Improvement Association, where he was honored by the city of New Orleans for his leadership and efforts in the St. Roch neighborhood. Troy was one of 12 individuals in New Orleans selected as a National W.K Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Fellow, focusing on leadership and racial equity.

Troy holds a B.A from the University of New Orleans in Political Science. Troy is also a graduate of the City of New Orleans’s Civic Leadership Academy, Stand for Children’s Education Leadership Institute and The Foundation for Louisiana’s LEAD Program, and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club.

Troy has a 13 year old daughter and a 4 year old son, and spends his free time enjoying listening to music, eating good food and anything else that embodies the culture of New Orleans.
