Blair Boutte is a lifelong New Orleanian. Blair was born and raised in the Iberville Housing Development, where he became involved in street life. Like many inner city youth Blair lost many of his friends to street violence, the drug trade, and ultimately the prison system. Not unlike his friends and neighbors growing up, Blair had his own encounters with the tragedies of the criminal justice system. It was this experience that allowed him to see this system from both sides, and motivated him to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice at Grambling State University where he graduated cum laude.
Blair is now the President of B3 Consulting, a political and business consulting group. Blair serves his clients as a political strategist with expertise in grassroots campaign efforts, as well as governmental relations and public affairs. Additionally, Blair leads B3 Real Estate, which specializes in residential and commercial real estate development. Blair also serves as President of Blair’s Bonding, Inc. and is a member of the board of directors for Association of Louisiana Bail Underwriters. Blair is also a former fellow at Loyola University New Orleans’ Institute of Politics.
Blair was raised to know the value of giving back to his community. A proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Blair also supports youth development efforts as a football coach at Carrollton Playground and a member of Friends of Lehman Park. Mr. Boutte is also the founder of the DOVE Coats for Kids program.
